Season 17 Apex Legends: Arsenal

Over the past few months, I had the privilege of collaborating with an incredible group of artists for Apex Legends: Arsenal. It never ceases to amaze me how a team of highly talented individuals can come together and achieve so much within a remarkably short timeframe. As part of this endeavor, I took on a leadership role, overseeing the entire process from beginning to end. This update was monumental, and I firmly believe that we have successfully breathed new life into World's Edge! I want to extend a special acknowledgment to each artist on my team: Mine Ulas, Anthony Leonati, Denys Vorobiov, Castor Redondo, Sebastien Accardo, and Richard Santarsiero. Once again, I am tremendously proud of my team and the exceptional work we have delivered. You guys are the embodiment of the true legends in my book!

Here are my primary responsibilities:
• Familiarizing myself with the style guide and concepts and identifying potential assets and materials for reuse.
• Researching and interpreting the Art Director's vision, creating a comprehensible Miro board for easy access.
• Collaborating with the Level Designer to develop Greyblock/proxy elements that align with gameplay requirements.
• Dividing the Level into manageable segments for each artist and establishing effective layer structures.
• Assessing workload and collaborating with each artist to establish realistic time estimates.
• Undertaking any remaining tasks not covered by the artists.
• Reviewing and providing feedback, while also monitoring progress.
• Collaborating with FXs, Audio, and external partners to ensure cohesive work.
• Conducting a gameplay clipping pass to ensure seamless traversal during gameplay.
• Monitoring performance and making necessary adjustments.
• Addressing bugs and managing Jira tasks.
